An SSD with an alleged capacity of 6 terabytes (TB) is currently being offered online at a massive price of 45 EUR. However, this is a fake SSD with only a few hundred GB capacity instead of the promised 6 TB.
In fact, the drive misleadingly displays a capacity of 6 TB. And the user can store endless data on it. However, the first data saved is always overwritten as soon as the capacity limit of around 500 GB is reached.
The design of the fake SSD called Allwelling is copied from Sandisc, see here. Our recommendation: Hands off!
Addendum from 12 September 2024: The name carousel has recently started spinning for the fraudsters. After Allwelling was burnt, the SSD is now being offered under the domain outdoor-mall.de without the name Allwelling.
Update from 28/09/2024:
The fake SSD has been renamed builikee and is now offered with a modified casing via the domain builikee.com.
