Pay once and then never again: escape the subscription madness!

Apple wants to talk you into subscriptions for which you have to pay monthly, quarterly or annually. Microsoft has been doing the same thing for years. Now Logitech boss Hanneke Faber has announced a ‘Forever Mouse’ for which you have to pay how? - By subscription, of course!

The cheapest subscription for Microsoft Office costs seven euros a month. That’s a whopping 84 euros per year. Our cheapest version of Microsoft Office costs you just under 25 euros once. You can use it for as long as the hardware on which you install and activate the software exists. If your hardware only lasts five years, that’s just 42 cents a month instead of seven euros. That’s 16 times cheaper!
